Helm Reacts to State Government Committee Election Hearing

HARRISBURG – The House State Government Committee today met for a hearing with Secretary of the Commonwealth Kathy Boockvar and Deputy Secretary for Elections and Commissions Jonathan Marks. The committee discussed inconsistencies and misinterpretations of election guidance leading up to, and through, the 2020 General Election. State Rep. Helm Announces Gaming Oversight Committee Chairmanship

HARRISBURG – State Rep. Sue Helm (R-Dauphin/Lebanon) today announced that she has been named chairman of the House Gaming Oversight Committee for the 2021-22 session. Helm was also appointed a member of the House Tourism and Recreational Development Committee.

General Assembly Passes Helm Bill to License Home Inspectors

Nov. 20, 2020 /

HARRISBURG – State Reps. Sue Helm (R-Dauphin/Lebanon) today announced that the General Assembly has passed House Bill 21, taking a massive step in giving homebuyers greater confidence during the homebuying process. House Bill 21 would amend Act 367 of 1945, known as the Engineer, Land Surveyor and Geologist Registration Law, to require licensure of home inspectors.
